Dr Amitabh is a Senior Consultant with over 35 years of experience in Nephrology working for pronounced institutions in Oman and India. He is the Head of Nephrology Department at Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman.

Dr Amitabh has completed his MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Nephrology) from Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi, India.

Dr Amitabh is experienced in handling a wide variety of cases of intrinsic renal disease, multi system disorders involving the kidney and kidney related complications in patients being treated in Adult ICU, Post-cardio thoracic surgery, Cardiology, Obstetrics, etc.

He has managed more than 2 thousand cases of Renal Transplantation.

He has an extensive experience in setting up and supervising various types of vascular access, emergent and maintenance haemo-dialysis, IPD and CAPD, CVVH and CVVHD and Plasma exchange.
