Dr Amr Elfaham is Specialist Emergency Medicine with more than 16 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. He completed his Fellowship and his Master degree in Emergency Medicine from Cairo, Egypt.
He is been working in Oman for more eight years (since 2014) in the Governmental Hospitals (Khoula Hospital and SQH) and then shifted to private sector joining NMC Specialty Hospital.
Dr Amr is skilled to deal with all emergency cases, cardiac arrest, poly-trauma , acute medical cases, acute surgical case, orthopaedic cases, Oby/Gynac. cases, psychiatric cases, ENT cases, Ophthalmology cases and trauma cases. He is also expert in dealing with long term care and geriatric care for rehabilitation and home care.
He has excellent experience in pain management.
Dr. Amr is regularly providing patient care, which includes regular resuscitation of critically ill patients. He also directly supervises, instructs and evaluate junior doctors in his department. Beside that he is also an BLS and ACLS instructor at the American heart association giving periodical courses for medical staff. He is also a member of the quality control management in the hospital. Dr Amr is the head of the emergency department and the long-term care, beside that he takes care of transportation of critical cases by the ambulance within and outside Oman.
