Dr Iyad Albilal is Specialist Gastroenterologist with more than 13 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology. He completed his Gastroenterology specialization from the Aleppo University Hospital, Syria and worked in Syria, Mauritania and Oman.
Dr Iyad is skilled to do EGD (diagnostic and therapeutic), colonoscopy with polypectomy and doing abdominal ultrasound He is also expert in dealing with a spectrum of diseases affecting pancreaticobiliary and general GI disorders.
He has excellent experience in non-invasive weight management procedures like intragastric balloon, in which he is a certified trainer in Oman for spatz3 FDA adjustable intragastric balloon by Dr Jeffry Brooks CEO and Inventor of Spatz3 balloon. He has performed more than 500 intragastric balloon procedures.
