Dr. Khalil Al Macki is a Sr. Consultant in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery with over 10 years of experience. He completed his MD from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat and later did his Otorhinolaryngology Residency training program at McGill University Canada and Advance Head and Neck Fellowship Training from National University, Singapore.
Dr Al Macki is chairing the Otolaryngology department at the Armed Forces Hospital (AFH) in Oman. He is very much involved in research in the field of H&N, Otology and Cochlear implantation. Dr. Al Macki successfully Cochlear implanted a 4 months old baby with congenital deafness, been the youngest non-meningitis child to receive an implantation in the Middle East. He was the first surgeon to preform simultaneous Cochlear implantation and middle ear implantation using carina system worldwide.
He is specialized in Advance Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, Robotic & Minimally Invasive Head & Neck Surgery, Minimally invasive endoscopic Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, Micro-vascular reconstruction Head & Neck Surgery and Otology & Cochlear Implantation Surgery.
