Dr Reshma Sreekanth is a consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, working with NMC hospital Ruwi Oman. Prior to her tenure with NMC, she was working as Senior Resident with Government Medical College Calicut, one of Asia’s leading centres in Obstetrics and Gynecology with maximum number of deliveries. She has completed her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology also from Government Medical College Calicut.  Dr. Reshma was awarded the DNB degree also during the same period while she was working with Calicut Medical College. She has completed her MBBS from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences Thrissur, one of the leading cancer centers of southern Kerala.

Dr Reshma has performed more than 400 cases of cesarean section, ectopic surgeries, ovarian surgeries, emergency surgery for post-partum hemorrhage including arterial ligation and B Lynch suturing myomectomy hysterectomy and many cases of laparoscopic sterilization and dealt with many high risk cases including eclampsia, AFLP, Cardiomyopathy and complex congenital heart disease with pregnancy. Instrumental deliveries are her area of interest as they avoid the need of second stage cesarean section and its severe morbidities.

Dr Reshma is a lifetime member of Indian medical association (IMA) and member of Federation of Obstetrician and Gynecologist Society of India (FOGSI). She continues her academic interests by way of corroborative research and publications and she is an active participant in many national and international conferences.
