Dr. Salma Al Shamsi is Visiting Senior Consultant Breast & General Surgery at NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Hail with more than 20 yrs. of experience. She is also attached to Armed Force Hospital, Muscat.
She completed her M.D from Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain and later went for MRCS, Diploma in Surgery. Further she underwent her training in Breast Surgery from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital –Sydney, Australia and obtained Masters in Breast Surgery. She is also a Senior Lecturer at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Muscat; Surgical Intern co-coordinator, co-coordinating all CME lectures of Department of Surgery and official trainer in General Surgery at OMSB.
